How I finally found out why words are in Latin with the academic related stuff... started from Slovenia and Slovakia

So I first found the short videos of this Slovenia couple travelling around with some motivation video, at first I didn't know they are from Slovenia since they are using Eng in the shorts until I checked their long videos...

((AFTER WATCHING THE well made SURVIVAL AUSTRALIAN tips VIDEOS, because I think I'm going there so I pay more attention to the videos of these

The first video short I found from them because the name of the place is interesting with the music.

Then

Then

then

then, why Australia called Australia? I probably searched it before...

ok it means southern in Latin, or the strange southern land in the compelete sentence made by the people who led the sailing, fund the trip or something IDK

How people called themselves explorer and naming things around? Are they finacially stable or they get fund by the powerful people with the resource who are not exploring? Or they are the powerful someone already??

So...

then

OK... I SEE.
Finally.

Wait what?? Slavery means the Slavs people who get captured????

Just though of the UK historian woman who later became a local tour guy wrote about the protest against slavery of the USA in London...

Yah I'm satisfied, now back to the work of resume...
